edible urban party jungle (working title), jogja indonesia

we will work on the following gardens: jogja national museum, mes 56, Milas Cafe, and a generic rooftop mulch basket system, (bandung bookshop)

using permaculture principles to create gardens focusing on edible perennials and trees (both useful and support species) in a compact food forest garden type system

our working method will be open unstructured workshops and we will have a media centre which will both archive and generate relevent media (calendar)

we will establish an operations centre at Jogja National museum

extensive additional visual and background material is available at namaiki.com

hola david whats up?!?! This is Luis from Kamakura.just discovered your jungleblog.

went to your house yesterday finally, surprised to see all the new things in the hatake that now is also cafe,
jumpe told me you guys left for indonesia already. i didnt get to see you before you left! after coming back from India its been taking some time to adapt to japanese life. how is everything going in indonesia? you guys building your edible jungle? I've thinking all along about the idea we talked about before of doing some sort of documentary. you still into it ? think its important as then other people can watch the documentary and learn from your experiment and build their own edible jungles all over the place! do you have some video + photo documenting thing going on?
me, i am still very much into the idea of the documentary, yet i am now here in japan and i dont think i can easily go down there, although i would love to. but if you guys shoot some video (maybe some local dude can help you with that) then i can edit it and do postproduction once you guys come back with the footage. what you think?

jungle gambatte!
